Roughnecks. Roustabouts. Floor hands. Motormen. Derrickmen. Drillers.

Oil field workers go by lots of different names, but they are all at the end of the day people. Fathers. Mothers. Sons. Daughters. Neighbors.

Here’s 5 oil field workers who remind us that regardless of what you hear in the news about energy development, the people who go to work every day to keep our economy moving are good and worthy of our respect.

1. The Policy Maker

A hard hat and a sharp mind. Jordan knows something they don’t in Washington…

2. Amphibious Derrickman

Imagine the hardest thing you’ve ever done, and then having to do it under water. Cool gear tho!

3. The Craftsman

Work with what you’ve got and make it work.

4. The Bossman

Grant has a clean shirt. Grant is a supervisor. Thanks for being a great boss Grant!

5. The Family Man

Is it dusty in here? Many oil field workers are out of work following restrictions the Biden Administration placed on energy development in America. Making the most of the family time (“bugging the hell out of” them) is a silver lining, but it’s not fair that they aren’t able to find work — especially in the middle of an energy crisis.
