New research could shed light on the causes of this summer’s spike in global temperatures — and how long they could last.
This new Hunga Tonga 🌋 research study (in peer review) is revelatory. Seriously, we need to consider the volcano as an unexpected, decade-long, natural warming spike.

Yikes — according to this research, we could see elevated temperatures for the next three to seven YEARS. When it gets that hot, it’s important to keep our policy-making cool.
There’s no denying global warming. The earth is hotter today than it was 50 years ago. The question really is: what is the proper role of government in a response?
The people most vocal to take action based on climate change are those on the progressive Left, who also generally favor central control. Not encouraging if you think about the DMV running efforts to save the planet. Count us among those cheering on entrepreneurs who are developing amazing tech to capture CO2 emissions, recycle electronics, and develop scalable, renewable energy sources that supplement traditional oil & gas.
