Happy Monday to everyone. Glenn Beck's rally in Washington D.C. had Google's Realtime instant search engine on fire this weekend and kept the number one spot on Google Trends for most of Saturday morning. As the popularity of social media grows, a new survey shows that more and more users over the age of 50 are signing up. Foursquare took only a month and a half to grow from 2 million to 3 million users and counting.

Google's Realtime has successful test run: Glenn Beck's rally featuring Sarah Palin kept the social media world busy on Saturday. It peaked it's highest when a Facebook video was featured of the rally.

Social media users are very diverse in age: As more and more campaigns are using social media and the web to reach voters a new survey shows that their older constituents are now tuning into social media.

Foursquare had most sign-ups than ever after Facebook Places announcement: Even with the all the new start-ups of location based services, Foursquare continues to grow larger. Foursquare has now hit the 3 million user mark and keeps growing.
